Zemanta is a text enrichment tool. Packaged as a firefox extension, it helps adding tags, photos, links to the texts you type in your web browser. It is based on "natural language processing, machine learning and fine tuning", and would take profit out of SemWeb technologies.
A firefox extension targeted at improving the accessibility of the websites. It includes a captcha reader, high contrast page viewing, link and focus highlighting, etc.
Internet Explorer 7 scores an abysmal 90522ms. (...) IE8-beta2 scored at 9542ms. But, for reference, in the same virtual environment Firefox "Minefield" was still able to pull off 1873ms. So, as while still no where near as fast as the other guys, IE8 is lightyears ahead of IE7 in its javascript performance.

Mozilla is releasing desktop versions of Fennec, the mobile version of Firefox targeted at being the concurrent of Iphone's Safari. As for the first tests, the user experience is rather convenient. It's w00t to be able to use flash on mobile devices!

Algorithm Ink is a port and extension of Context Free by Aza Raskin. The original grammar was originally conceived of by Chris Coyne. Algorithm Ink uses open-web, standards-based tools: no plugins required. You can even right-click to save the drawings. The caveat is that Firefox 3, and Opera 9.5 are the only browsers to fully support Canvas, so it may run slower on Safari, and not at all in Internet Explorer.
